THE THINKING BEHIND KADALTO

The ride is yours. The file should be, too.

KADALTO is an independent cycling project for the part after the ride: understanding your recording, putting things right and keeping control of the result.

LESS FRICTION. MORE RIDING.

A good ride deserves a usable file.

A computer stops halfway through a ride. A recording starts before you leave. The elevation looks wrong, or a file reveals more of your home than you want to share. Small file problems should not take the pleasure out of a ride.

That is the work KADALTO focuses on. Workshop gives you one clear tool for one task. Studio brings supported edits into a single ride workspace, with a map, charts, history and a preview before you apply a change.

A few things we will not compromise on.

Local by design

Your ride file is read and edited in your browser. You do not need an account, and it is not uploaded for processing. Map backgrounds and terrain estimates involve separate geographic requests, explained in our privacy policy.

You decide what changes

Your original recording remains separate. Review selections, compare available measurements and apply only the changes you want. A download is a new file, not an overwrite of the original.

Clear about the limits

A route is not always an activity. Terrain height is an estimate. Not every field fits every output format. We explain supported behavior and refuse an edit when we cannot verify the result, rather than presenting uncertainty as success.

Useful detail, without making you an expert.

A ride contains more than a line on a map. Depending on the file, it can carry device information, sensor readings, laps, events and recorded totals. Inspect makes that information readable so you can understand what you have before deciding what to change.

The tools are available in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Distances and heights can be shown in metric or imperial units. The goal is the same in every language: a clear task, an understandable result and a way back if you change your mind.

Built with care. Improved with real feedback.

KADALTO is a developing project, not an official service from a device manufacturer or training platform. It does not promise identical statistics or guaranteed acceptance on other websites. Keep a copy of your original recording and review edited files before using them elsewhere.

Found something confusing, a file we cannot handle or a result that needs a closer look? Tell us what you were trying to do. Useful feedback helps us improve the actual experience, not just add more buttons.
