Studio keeps the original, current ride and pending preview separate. Inspect a recording, trim a section, review elevation or supported sensor and device details, then apply only the changes you want. Available tools adapt to the file. History and undo let you review your work before a verified export; opening the workspace does not upload the recording to a cloud account.
A preview is not an applied edit
Preview a change and review its effect first. Apply updates the current ride; undo or revision lets you revisit that work. Export creates a separate verified output. Keep the source and download completed work before closing or reloading the tab: this session is held in browser memory.
One task can still use one tool
Use the standalone tools when you only need a conversion, merge, split or focused edit. Studio is for supported changes to one working ride, not a promise that every standalone operation can be chained into every source format.
