The first and last recorded positions can reveal a home, workplace or regular meeting spot. Hide start & finish removes supported boundary points within the zones you choose while retaining the useful part of the route. Adjust the radius and inspect what remains before you export. The goal is a more considered file to share, not a promise that removing a few locations makes an entire recording anonymous.

Questions about this tool
Does this delete all GPS data from my ride?
No. The boundary-hiding workflow keeps the useful route and removes the supported points near the chosen start and finish zones. Review the before-and-after map to understand the actual change.
Is my activity anonymous after hiding the start and finish?
No anonymity guarantee is made. Inspect the remaining route, repeated visits and other recorded details. The file can still reveal a location or person through information outside the removed zones.
