Your ride files stay on your device
Workshop and Studio process ride files in your browser. We do not upload their contents. Edits create a separate download and never overwrite the original. Closing or reloading the tab clears the working ride and its download links. Files already downloaded remain on your device.
Website delivery and security logs
Our website delivery providers receive your IP address and basic request details to deliver and protect the service. Security logs exclude query strings and ride-file contents. They are limited in size and used for website operation and security.
Online maps and terrain correction
Google Maps supplies the primary road and satellite map when configured; OpenFreeMap supplies the fallback street map. These providers receive your IP address and viewed geographic area. Routes are drawn on your device; ride files, filenames and sensor streams are not uploaded to them.
Terrain correction
Automatic elevation correction requests geographic height tiles through KADALTO. These requests reveal the requested regions to our delivery providers. Manual altitude edits need no terrain request. Heights are estimates, not surveyed measurements.
Preferences and analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits, tool operations and downloads using cookies and basic connection information. We never send ride files, filenames, GPS coordinates, ride times or sensor readings. Analytics is off until you allow it; reject or withdraw through Privacy choices at any time. Analytics cookies and your choice last up to six months. No advertising features are enabled. Theme, language and units remain local preferences.
Support messages
If you contact support, we use the information you send to handle your request and retain it only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Start with the tool, format, browser and error message. Do not include a private ride file or home address in your first message.
Your choices and rights
You can clear local preferences in your browser and turn off online map backgrounds. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict personal data, object to processing or contact a data protection authority. Use the contact below. We cannot retrieve files processed only in your browser.
Who is responsible
KADALTO provides this service. Website delivery and security use the connection details needed to operate and protect it. External map, terrain and email providers also have their own privacy terms. Our help page explains how to get assistance without sharing a private ride file.
