An implausible power peak or a heart-rate or cadence spike can distract from an otherwise useful ride. This tool lets you select a recorded channel, set a supported threshold and review the proposed correction in context. FIT and TCX do not offer identical channel support. A very high value is not automatically wrong: use the surrounding recording and your knowledge of the ride when deciding whether to edit it.

- Open the supported FIT or TCX activity and select an available sensor channel.
- Choose the correction threshold and inspect the affected readings in the preview.
- Apply only a justified correction and keep the original alongside the verified output.
Questions about this tool
Can I remove a power spike from a FIT ride?
Use the supported FIT power channel and review the points matched by your chosen threshold. The tool should show the proposed effect before you keep the edit; it does not decide whether a hard effort was real.
Does this tool add a missing heart-rate or cadence stream?
No. It works with available supported measurements. Reconstructing missing sensor data or combining simultaneous streams from separate devices is a different operation and is not offered by this cleanup workflow.
